The Berkeley County Historical Society welcomes monetary donations to help us continue our work of preserving, collecting and educating the public on the rich history, culture and the people of Berkeley County, WV. As an organization receiving no public financial support, funds are needed to maintain the three buildings in the complex- The Berkeley County Museum at the Belle Boyd House, the Research & Archives Center and the Museum Storage Building. Further, funding is needed to provide for conservation supplies, exhibit installations, programming and research programs. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The Berkeley County Historical Society gladly accepts historical objects that fit into the scope of our collection and are in good condition. To ensure that we accept only items that fit our collection needs, it is necessary to make an appointment with the Curator or her representative to discuss the gift.

We also require a Deed of Gift to be signed to transfer property to BCHS.

Membership in the Berkeley County Historical Society is open to all who have an interest in the history of Berkeley County, West Virginia, its preservation and perpetuation. All fees are annual except for Lifetime memberships.
